Wike who made the disclosure on Thursday, April 29, during a meeting with traditional rulers from Ogoniland, stated that the country is now on life support.
The governor speaking further urged Nigerians not to re-elect the APC because the party has failed in its primary responsibility to protect the lives and properties of the citizens. According to him, the security situation under the APC-led government has deteriorated so much so that the safety of a state governor can not be guaranteed, The Nation reports. While blaming citizens of being part of the socio-economic and security challenges, Wike said the people have failed in their duty to question and hold public officers to account for the promises made during elections. He challenged the federal government to take drastic actions that will decimate terrorists and bandits.
