Efiks Plan Joint Convention in US to Solidify Unity

The Efik ethnic group of Cross River state would converge in Texas, United States of America, for a joint convention aimed at solidifying its unity among those in diaspora and the Efiks at home.

This was contained in a press release, signed by A. Etim Roberts for Efik National Association, and made available to our reporter in Calabar.

The release said the joint convention would take place from July 25th to August 1, and that it would feature members of the two prominent Efik Associations in America as well as some personalities from Nigeria.

It read in part: “Efik National Association, Inc. USA (ENA) and their sister association, Efik National Association, USA, Inc (Efik, USA), will hold a joint convention this year 

“The joint convention, which will hold in Houston,Texas,USA from July,25th to August 1st,2023, will bring together members of the two sister organizations and the Efiks at home.”

The release added that the Presidents of both Associations had been working to make the joint convention possible after making proper and informed decisions.

“Hotel reservations will be at Hyatt Rejency, Houston West,13210 Katy Freeway, Houston,Texas, while the convention Gala Night is slated for July, 29,2023, at Grace Event Centre15401 Bellaire Boulevard,Houston,Texas,” the release said. 

It charged members of the two Associations to “look out for regular updates, and get registered on the management system and pay their dues and contact Pastor Oroks or A. Etim Roberts for further enquiries.”
