In a statement made available to some newsmen in calabar on Thursday, Bassey said, “I started my Gubernatorial consultation with the youth, I believe in them, I strongly believe that the youths will be given the opportunity to tell my administration what it has not been doing well, give ideas of what should be done that would make their lives better’.

Bassey who has the penchant for always supporting developmental projects, donated huge funds to the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) to facilitate and speed up the construction of the NYCN Secretariat.

While thanking the Distinguished Senator for acknowledging and prioritizing Youths and students, the Chairman of NYCN, Cross River State Chapter, Comrade Dan Obo Jnr, declared that the youths of Cross River State are in full support of the #Back2South Agenda to maintain the peaceful coexistence in the State.
