The General Overseer of the Castle of Grace Deliverance Ministries, Apostle Ekapong Ofem, has commended Governor Bassey Otu for appointing Doctor Oden Eni Ofem as Auditor-General for local government in Cross River State.

In a statement made available to reporters in Calabar, Friday, Apostle Ofem said the appointment was a demonstration of Governor Otu’s resolve to put square pegs in square holds, and further described the appointment as ‘deserving.’

“Today, I join the good people of Cross River State to congratulate our own, Doctor Oden Eni  Ofem, who was today appointed the Auditor-General for Local Government by our bridge builder of our time, His Excellency, Governor Prince Bassey Otu.

“The Governor, with this deserving appointment, has further shown his determination to ensure square pegs are put in square holes. Thank you, His Excellency for your efforts at giving our State a new direction.

“On behalf of my family, Board of Trustee of our ministry, the Castle of Grace Deliverance Ministry, we also congratulate the Senator representing the Central Senatorial District, Rt Hon Eteng Jonah Williams on his 100 days in office.

“I hereby call on all Cross Riverians to support the present government in order for us to reap the dividends of Democracy,” he stated.
