Separatists militants suspected to be members of the Black Marine have beheaded three members of the Cameroon Gendarmes in Isangele subdivision an area in Bakassi Peninsula inhabited by ethnic groups of Southeastern Nigeria origin.

This latest incident is coming barely three days after the suicide bomb attack suspected to have come from the the pro Biafra militant wing, the Black Marine, that killed seven members of the Cameroon Rapid d’intervention Battalions (BIR) in Abana , former headquarters of Bakassi Peninsula.

Inside sources said the militants numbering four were sailing on big canoe boat with fishing net at about 5am on Tuesday morning, when they jumped out from the water shooting one Gendarmerie and beheaded two at a spot, taking their guns and their heads.

The sources further said that the militants usually keep the head of any beheaded soldier in their camps.

Meanwhile, the Rapid d’intervention Battalions (BIR) have began manhunt for the leader of the Black Marine following the deadly suicide bomb attack that killed seven BIR members few days ago.

Leader of the Biafra Nations League (BnL), Princewill Richards and the Operational Coordinator of the BnL, Henry Edet, declined to comment on this latest attack but Edet commented on the bomb incident saying his group was excited to hear that the bomb attack killed Biafra enemies.

Recall that about three weeks ago, the BIR had in a tensed gun battle, sacked the pro Biafra militant wing, the Black Marines in Abana, said to be working for the BnL in the Gulf of Guinea thus provoking these reprisal attacks.
