Barr. Ekpenyong Akiba, media aide to Ntufam Sen. (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, the APC gubernatorial candidate in Cross River State, has been honoured as the most media freindly personality of the year in Cross River State.
The event which was held at the Dome event center, Calabsr municipal council, was sponsored by Queen Makers Entertainment, organizers of Miss Cross River Iconic Queen, Nigeria.
Barr. Akiba, a lawyer, politician and media aide to Sen. Otu was nominated for his excellent role in leading the media team of the frontline Guber candidate and maintaining a descent and issue based campaigne so far and as well as assisting other young media personalities to grow.
Receiving the award, Barr. Akiba appreciated the organizers for the honour and promised to create more platforms for several other young persons to advance in the sector.
He also expressed gratitude to God for bringing Sen. Prince Bassey Otu whom he said gave him the opportunity to excel and to become who he is today not just within the Media strata but also across other divides in the Society at large.
High point of the event was the crowning of Miss Cross River Iconic Queen Nigeria 2022, Angelica Kenwood, and other categories of winners including the presentation of other awards.
