Akwa Ibom State Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Pastor Umo Eno says the party is primed and ready to salvage Nigeria and sustain the tempo of peace, development and prosperity in Akwa Ibom State.
Pastor Eno who was among stakeholders at the grassroots in his Ibiakpan Obotim Ward 2 meeting of the party that was held earlier today July 9, 2022 further added that the parley which was held in all the political wards of the State at the instance of the party leadership described the exercise as a welcome development which has served to recalibrate and ensure cohesion of the party going forward.
Pastor Eno lauded the leader of the PDP in the State, His Excellency Governor Udom Emmanuel for providing purposeful and pragmatic leadership while ensuring that his policy of political inclusion is extended to the grassroots.
The Governorship hopeful also commended the State Chairman of the PDP, Elder Aniekan Akpan and the party leaders at State, Chapter and Ward levels for keeping the party united and strong.
He tasked citizens of Nigeria in general and Akwa Ibom State in particular to go out and participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise, support the PDP ahead of the 2023 General Election and ensure they vote for all candidates of the party so that the security, peace and progress of the country can be restored.
