The Chairman/CEO of Bengies Group of Companies Engr. Ben Akak, has condemned in the strongest term, the recent terrorist attack on Parishioners at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State which led to the lost of many lives and injury to others; describing the attack as callous and a declaration of war on the Church of God and peace-loving people of Ondo State and Nigeria.
While sympathizing with the families that lost their loves ones in the attack and those injured, Akak said he is seriously disturbed by the growing level of insecurity in the land and the audacity of terrorist groups to attack places of worship in the country at regular intervals without being caught, calling on all the security agencies in the country to re-double their efforts to bring the menace to an end.
Akak who is also the Chairman of Ben Akak Foundation, promised that the Foundation as part of its humanitarian activities will immediately establish contact with the hospitals in Ondo State where the injured victims are hospitalized to assist in funding their treatment and also provide other relieve materials to see to their quick recovery.
He also called on citizens to provide security agents with actionable intelligence that will help them curb this form of crime before they are committed, advising that siding with the enemies of the country for whatever reason does no one good.
He prayed that God grants the soul of the victims rest in His Bossom, Amen.
