Jose Mourinho has hinted that his next job will be entirely different from all he has ever done in his career. The 58-year-old’s 17 months reign in charge of Tottenham Hotspur came to an abrupt end when the club fired him earlier this month. He endured a poor run of results across competitions all season-long and their 2-2 draw against Everton on Friday, April 16 was the last straw for the Portuguese-born tactician.
The former Chelsea and Manchester United manager also professed his love for football and added that he is already missing the game for the past few days that he’s been out of a job.
Mourinho who recently landed two huge roles with SunSport and talkSport for the European championship this summer was quoted by The Mirror saying: “As a football man, I always look to football. I look very much forward to it (the new job) because I believe it is going to be something new and something incredible. “I am totally absorbed by football, I just love to work. In this moment I have not been working for a week and I am missing it already. Let’s enjoy.” Mourinho will provide expert opinion and analysis for both media houses during the course of the competition starting on June 11.
