For peace to rain ifthe country, the Biafra Nations League (BnL) has called on the Federal Government to immediately obey the Appeal Court’s order and release Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Briefing some newsmen in Calabar, the Cross River State capital on Friday, the BnL Leader, pls Princewill Chimezie Richards warned of more insurrection in the southeast.

He said, “For this government to enjoy peace, we demand that the court order and right to self-determination be respected.

“Therefore, we the officials of the BNL family, in conjunction with all our entire members, drawn from the various ethnic nationalities of Biafra extraction, hereby demand that Mr Nnamdi Kanu be allowed to go home, as ordered by the court”.

He said that, “this should be done in a few days from now. Hence, there will be an increase in the revolt against the state.”

Recall that, the BnL had recently asked President Mohammadu Buhari to drop charges the leader of IPOD so as to have peace in the Eastern region as the group had set up a special intelligent unit known as ‘Red Wall of Silence” intelligent team to monitor vessels,  oil activities in Bakassi Peninsula, Niger Delta and the Gulf of Guinea and impound or hijack all oil vessels operating in the area.
