A renowned Father of faith in Nigeria and Spiritual leader of God’s Heritage Nation, Bishop Josef Bassey, has congratulated the Governor-elect of Cross River State over his victory in the just concluded polls.
Bishop Bassey described the election of Prince Otu as “the will of God, the triumph of divine favour over satanic human ambition and a sacred trust reposed on him by the blessed people of Cross River State.”
According to him, Senator Otu’s victory ‘is an unequivocal expression of the confidence of Cross Riverians in him to provide the much needed strategic, transformational and messianic leadership required to reposition the state at this point in history.”
The Church Leader lauded the Governor-elect for running a campaign devoid of hatred, bitterness, divisive manipulations, abuses and tribal championship.
He therefore called on him to be magnanimous in victory as all hands should be recruited for the great task ahead.
The Spiritual father also appealed to people of goodwill to uphold the Governor-elect and his entire team in prayers, adding that the dawn of a new Cross River State has truly arrived.
