To ensure safety in the Ember months and beyond, the Cross River Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) will flag off it’s 2021 Ember months campaign and operation zero special patrol on October 7, 2021.
A release by the Sector Public Education Officer, Superintendent Route Commander (SRC), Mr. Mark Ajuka said, the exercise by the Command is “in line with the continuous commitment of the Corps to holistically tackle road traffic crashes with the view to achieve its statutory mandate of bringing it to the barest minimum”.
He said, “the theme for this Year’s campaign is: “Maintain Safe Speed, Avoid Night Travels and Travel and Enjoy Road Experience”.
The one day motorized and mega rally for the flag off of the ember months campaign according to the Command is expected to hold at Calabar Municipal Council from 10am as motorists and the entire public are invited to grace the occasion.
