Thirty nine newly promoted officers of the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC), Cross River Sector Command have been decorated with their new ranks.
The decorated officers were promoted from their previous ranks to their next level of ranking after a successful promotion examination.
While decorating the newly promoted officers, the Sector Commander, Mr. Abdullahi M Hassan expressed his profound happiness on them for their success in the just concluded examination and made them to understand that “to whom much is given much is expected expected” .
He therefore implored them to put in their best so as to justify the Corps’ Management good gestures on them, saying, not only should they now be more committed to their responsibilities, but should also go extra miles in ensuring accomplishments of any responsibility entrusted into their care”.
Hassan thanked the Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu for his magnanimity and generosity in making it possible for a 100% success of all the Officers of the Command that participated in the last promotional examination which culminated their being decorated yesterday.
He also used the opportunity to express his happiness to the Heads of Security Agencies that graced the occasion and other stakeholders for the show of love to the Command as despite their tight schedules but decided to honour the invitation of the Command.
Heads of various Security Agencies, Captains of industries and other numerous Stakeholders that graced the occasion in their turn delivered their good will messages asserting that they management of the Corps has done noble and as such “law of reciprocity should be allowed to prevail” .
They stated that all hands must be on deck to move not only the Command forward but also the Corps at large.
Highpoint of the ceremony was the Sector Commander first decorating ACC Ekong Enuan Otu to his present rank of DCC as well as other ranks being assisted by the Heads of other Security Agencies, the spouses of some of the officers and some important stakeholders.
