Few Days to Exit, Ayade Commissions 13 Projects

Governor Ben Ayade has embarked on the commissioning of not fewer than 13 projects spread across the State. This is coming just few days to his exit from the corridor of power as Governor.

A press statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Eric Anderson said Governor Ayade, the Emir of Kano, His Royal Majesty Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayaro CFR and the Chairman of the State Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Majesty Etinyin Etim Okon Edet would do the commissioning.

As at the time of filing this report, the commissioning of the ultra modern Teachers Continuous Training Institute (TCTI) located at Biase local government area in the state has already been done by the Governor himself. 

The State Council of Chiefs’ Chairman, HRM Etinyin Edet took his turn on Thursday to commission the feed mill, a 24,000 birds per day poultry factory (Calachika) and a BPOO Bagging and Packaging Factory; all three located in the Industrial Park.

The Emir of Kano, who would spend two days in the State, is expected to commission the Dual Carriage way from Tinapa Junction to Odukpani Junction, Phase one Super Highway, Spaghetti Flyover, 27MW Power Plant Adiabo, 23 MW Power Plant, Parliamentary Extension in Calabar.

Other projects to be commissioned by the Emir are the Obudu German Hospital, Obudu, Ogoja Vitamined Rice Mill, Ogoja, Tookpick Factory Ekori, Yakurr and 120,000 bird ultra modern poultry.

This is the first time in the life of the administration for such number of projects to be commissioned in one fell swoop.
