Chief Of Staff to Governor Udom Emmanuel Lifts The Less Privilege At His 56th Birthday… Presents Cars to Traditional Rulers

The Chief of Staff to the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mkpisong Ephraim Inyangeyen yesterday (November 25) visited some Orphanages and the General hospital in Ikot Abasi  to mark his 56th birthday.

The visits which took Inyangeyen to the three Federal Constituencies in Akwa Ibom South (Eket) Senatorial District saw him pay the hospital bills of some patients who were discharged but unable to leave because of lack and also pray for their permanent recovery and their wellbeing. 

At the General  Hospital, Ikot Abasi, Akparawa Ephraim Inyangeyen paid the bills of about 10 patients who could not afford to pay their hospital bills.

Leading the team of Akparawa Ephraim Inyangeyen round the wards, the Senior Doctor, Kings Jacob thanked Ephraim Inyangeyen for the love he has shown the patients and prayed that God in his earnest mercy will forever bless and sustain his life.

The first celebration took place at God’s Liberty Motherless Babies Home, Oron, followed by the General Hospital in Eket. the last point of celebration was in his home town, ONNA local government area.

The Chief of Staff donated food items and cash for the upkeep of the children  at the Orphanage amidst songs of worship and prayers with and for the children.

At Eket  the Inyangeyen was at the Way to the Nations (WN) Children’s center at no. 5 Akpanwa street, Eket, where the Deputy Director of the home, Ndianaabasi Akanimo appreciated Mkpisong Inyangeyen for coming to celebrate his birthday with the children and prayed that God will always  protect and lift him to greater heights for his passion towards humanity.

At the Orphanage in Mkpok Onna, where he was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Ime Ephraim Inyangeyen, they cut his birthday cake and donated provisions, food items, toiletries, and cash gifts.

Akparawa Ephraim Inyangeyen in his speech at different locations, said he has nothing to do than to appreciate God for his never ending love and mercy which has kept  him till the great day. 

He said that his act of  celebration with the orphans is very apt believing that  the rejected one could be the most honoured and favoured in future and in the nearest future they will always remember his kind gesture.

The children were not left out in the appreciation process, as they  thanked God Almighty for sparing his life and that of his family even as they prayed for him and sang birthday songs in celebration.

Highlights of the event was the adoption of three children from the different homes and donations of cars to two persons in his hometown, Ikot Ebiere, Etebom Samuel Efik, Clan Head of Oniong, and Eteidung Maxwell Ekpoisia, Village Head of Ikot Ebiere Onna LGA, respectively.

He also gave full scholarship to Miss Comfort, a 400 level Chemical Engineering student of Akwa Ibom State University, the student union’s Vice President.
