Dragon Fighter Marine,associated with Biafra has dislodged Cameroon Gendarmes from Abana, Bakassi Headquarters
This was the former administrative block of Bakassi Local Government Area when it was in Cross River State.
Sources close to the group said the separatist group is widely believed to be members of a Nigerian based Biafra group, the Biafra Nations League, (BnL).
Unconfirmed sources said that the incident happened at 1pm on March 18 when the separatist fighters invaded the compound, dispersed government workers, killing 9 several other officers were disarmed at gunpoint.
The (BnL), Princewill Richards said “my comment is that it serves them right, we will hold it and use it as our office” .
