With socio-economic and security challenges ravaging nooks and crannies of the country, the former Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria ( CAN) in Cross River state, Archbishop Archibong Archibong, says he is leading a non-denominational Christian group, the United Army of the Lord, on 90-day prayer congress for both Cross River state and Nigeria.
Archbishop Archibong, who doubles as the General Superintendent of the Calabar-based Intercessors Bible Mission (IBM), in a message made available to our reporter, explained that the prayer congress is scheduled to begin from January 3 to March 31, 2022.
He said the theme of the event is ‘Oh God, save Cross River state and Nigeria’ and that participants would include “all concerned Christians, intercessors, prayer warriors, women and men groups” amongst others.
The Archbishop noted further that for every Christian across the globe to fully participate, the prayer congress would be conducted online through life streaming on Facebook as well as on WhatsApp, Twitter and Instagram.
According to the Church leader, the time for the streaming would be “12-3am night watch, 6am-9am morning watch and the afternoon watch which will start from 12 noon to 3pm, daily.”
He charged Christians to “just give one hour of your day to pray for Cross River and Nigeria,” believing that things would not remain the same after the event.
