For The Record: Alarmists On Rampage As Election Fever Grips The Opposition

We have listened to a concocted audio recording orchestrated by the Campaign Organization of a known convict, where they allege the storage of BVAS at a certain location in Uyo to be used by the PDP for illegal purposes.

We wish to state emphatically that the audio is the work of a con- artiste, it is nothing but vile tissues of lie. There are no such BVAS stored anywhere in Uyo or any where in the state by our great party. BVAS are the sole instruments of INEC and no one is authorized to have access to them except INEC .

The opposition elements having realized that the Akwa Ibom people will continue to choose peace over cultism- induced violence and have said loud and clear that they will never give power to cultists and merchants of violence, and fully aware that they will be rejected by the good people of Akwa Ibom State come this Saturday, have resorted to blackmail, lies and evil propaganda. They will fail because Akwa Ibom people have chosen a man of character, capacity, integrity, compassion and Christian virtues in Pastor Umo Eno. The intent of the purveyors of the dubious audio message is to dissuade voters from coming out in their numbers to vote on Saturday . We call on all eligible voters in Akwa Ibom to ignore the dubious audio and troop to their polling units to cast their votes .

It is unfortunate that the opposition elements remain fixated on the former Resident Electoral Commissioner in the State, Barrister Mike Igini, a man nationally celebrated for the great works he did, in Akwa Ibom State to advance the cause of democracy. Such opposition elements forget that Barr Igini had left the scene before BVAS was introduced

We enjoin the public to dismiss the fake audio recording, as it is an exercise by desperate people in their attempt to soil the good name of His Excellency the State Governor , Mr. Udom Emmanuel, question INEC’s integrity and perhaps lay the foundation for the rejection of an obvious outcome as a face saving measure

UMO ENO IS COMING!

Prince Chris AbasiEyo, MNIPR,
Spokesperson, PDP/Umo Eno Campaign Council.
