Biafra Separatists Storm Ikang Waterways, Shoot Sporadically

Biafra Separatists group in early hours of today stormed Ikang Waterways shooting sporadically thus causing a momentary anxiety.

Residents of the area said that incident happened a about t 3am as they heard heavy shootings suspected to be fron the militants

There were gunshots at the Ikang waterways were suspected to have come from militants of the Black Marine, a group loyal to Biafran movement.

However there was no casualty in the shooting that lasted for about 10 minutes as the militants shot sporadically in the air maneuvering their boats towards the Ikang jetty.

It was gathered that the Black Marine wants the military to end dusk to dawn curfew imposed on upland Bakassi in Cross River State.

The Biafra Nations League, BnL, a group with large influence in the Bakassi Peninsula have warned that refusal to end the curfew will result to more problem.

Pioneer founder of BnL said on live broadcast via Sunrise Daily Tv YouTube that his supporters might run out of patience if the curfew continues.

Following the state of. Insecurity, the Military had imposed a dusk to dawn curfew in Bakassi and Akpabuyo councils some weeks ago to maintain law and order.
