Prince Otu was in the wee hours of yesterday in a crucial stakeholders meeting with aspirants in Abuja nominated by Governor Ben Ayade and majority of aspirants.
In his message of solidarity, Akak said “the journey to where we are now was not an easy one. As a fellow contestant, i know that we all gave in our best.
“Like a football match, a winner must emerge at the end of the day and on this, the leader of our party, His Excellency, Prof Ben Ayade and elders of the party who are the referees have decided in their wisdom that you lead the battle of the APC in the forth coming elections and as a loyal party man and one that believes that politics is not a do or die game, I humbly abide by the party decision for the sake of our leader, the governor, and our party, as well as the wellbeing of the larger Cross River people” .
He said as “a man of faith, I sincerely believe that the intrigues and political games that led to your emergence were all actions to fulfil a destiny, a destiny that has been designed by God alone for you.
One of the All Progressives Congress ((APC) aspirants in Cross River state, Mr. Engr. Ben Akak has declared total support for Senator Prince Bassey Otu as the party’s consensus candidate.
“On behalf of myself and family, my political supporters and well wishers, I most sincerely congratulate you on this feat and wish you success in the forth coming elections as you steer our party to victory” .
