He posited that he has the right connections that can attract the right partners and investment to see through the initiatives.

He listed all the industrial initiatives of Governor Ayade and said if given the mandate, his administration will adopt a different workable model and frameworks in the operations of these industries and mega projects to ensure their sustainability.

“We will ‘corporatized’ the industries and by the ‘corporatization’ policy, ownership will be separated from management to allow them run on commercial bases”.

Responding, the state chairman of the APC Alphonsus Eba Esq. said Prof. Eyo Etim Nyong is not only an erudite professor but distinguished man who deserves the opportunity to lead the state and sustain all the programs and initiatives of government for the benefits of the people.

He noted that since 1999 under the legacy All Progressive Party APP, prof. Nyong had been a household name and an aspirant who was robbed of victory in the governorship race but he has remain committed to public service and the aspiration for a better Cross River State.
