DISTELL Nigeria Tasks Staff On Greater Performance, Customer Satisfaction, Doles Out Cash Prizes

Distell Wines & Spirits Nigeria limited, producers of wines and spirits has urged its sales managers, sales representatives, and brand Ambassadors to redouble their efforts for enhanced and greater performance in the coming year.

Country Managing Director of the company which produces brands such as Chamdor non-alcoholic sparkling wine, Bains whisky, Savanna, Amarula, 4th street among many others. Mr. Steve Ighorimoto gave the charge during their national sales conference 2022 with the theme “Game Changer- the power of winning together”, held at Ibom Icon Hotels & Golf course, Uyo-Akwa Ibom State over the weekend.

According to the Managing Director, who told the team participating in the conference that they have earned the confidence of the African Leadership Team, further tasked them to justify the commendations and rewards from the top hierarchy of the company by breaking new grounds and smashing their current records.

He also included that efforts are in top gear to continuously seek ways and better alternatives to achieve cost savings without compromising quality and standards of the company’s products, noting that the company will invest more on training staff, recruit the right people for the right roles and inspire them through purpose and strategy for progress.

He further acknowledged that the company which was incorporated in 2018 has done so much in the market without any loss as “the company is increasing and expanding its footprint in Nigeria”. 

Also speaking at the Event, the National Sales Manager of Distell Nigeria, Mr. Alex Onoghodjare told the staff that the company must achieve above volume and profit target for the year.

In his words. ““the need to grow Distell Nigeria business in 2023 will involve expanding our distribution coverage, gaining full presence in places where our brands have little or no traction, this will involve engaging sub-distributions to partake in our distribution model, use their Structures for direct coverage and ensure presence in all major cities”.

Participants at the conference were exposed to health and medical awareness on such dangerous diseases such as Hepatitis A, B and C and others.

The conference conducted a special training for the staff to increase their on-the-job performance and cultivate better customer relationship.

The two-day intensive conference ended with a gala night yesterday.

Meanwhile major distributors and partners of Distell Wines and Spirits Nigeria limited were feted their distributors across the country to a gala night at Ibom Icon hotels and golf course Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Ighorimoto said that the event is a way of showing tremendous appreciation to Distributors and partners who stood with them through thick and thin to succeed together.

According to the Managing Director in a speech made to kick start the night long event, “together we will win and change the marketplace for the better, next financial year will be far greater than what we achieved in the outgoing year”.

The Managing Director who acknowledged the immense contributions of the Distributors and consumers to the rapid growth of the company doled out cash and gifts to various category of winners who met their targets to fire them for greater performance in the new year.

In his words, “Distributors have done so much in the past years, and we are looking forward to greater partnership I thank them for believing us and joining faith with us to succeed together.

 Ighorimoto at the event assures the distributors and partners of his readiness to engage them continuously to address any trade issues that may impede the progress of the partnership in the coming year while doling out gifts, incentives and awards to both distributors and staff of the company.

Also speaking the National sales manager Mr. Alex Onoghodjare appreciated the beneficiaries for the love they have for the company in patronizing them to succeed. “We will commence activities that will give more money and better values to our customers, help them enhance their businesses while enjoying our fantastic range of products” he said.

The top Customers cash prices ranging from N1 million to N10 Million for meeting their targets were presented. 

Distributors who spoke at the event expressed deep appreciation to the Distell Nigeria Ltd for the price friendly products which have helped improve profitability for them.

They thanked the company for understanding the prevailing economic situation in the country by ensuring price stability and appeal to them to engage in more promotions and intensive advertisement in the media space to promote and create top of the mind awareness for the products.
